Scribblenauts Showdown features two party modes for 1-4 players: Showdown and Versus. Players can also join forces in Scribblenauts' popular Sandbox mode to complete objectives and see their items come to life in amazing ways. Competitors can pop up items from an endless dictionary of over 30,000 words to beat opponents or simply to fly their imaginations. You can also customize your own Scribblenaut, designed in classic Scribblenauts style, to use it within the game. Features: Showdown Mode - In this exciting new party mode, up to four players will have to aim for victory by playing their cards well and using lots of creativity and imagination. In word-minigames competitors will have to summon the best item or character starting from the game's huge dictionary, while speed minigames reward those who complete a certain challenge first. Player progress is displayed on a board game-style map and there are multiple ways to cross the finish line before everyone! Versus Mode – Two players compete in over 25 minigames that change with each session. This mode allows you to play continuously: players succeed game after game for endless fun. Versus mode is also suitable for a single player. Sandbox Mode – Explore new targets in the series' famous creative mode, with eight electroplating levels. One or two players will have to test their imagination to reach goals, get hidden Starites, and complete objectives. The Sandbox mode is also perfect for 1 or 2 player games that want to give free rein to their creativity by bringing up whatever objects come to their mind, so they can then interact in unpredictable ways. We are all Scribblenaut – Players can choose or draw their own Scribblenaut, which will represent them within the game, and can further customize it with clothing and accessories by achieving Starite and completing objectives.
